Appretan® N5252 liq

Appretan® N5252 liquid is a water-based and solvent-free hydrophilic polyurethane dispersion for high performance coatings and laminations where the combination of excellent breathable effects and waterproof properties is required.

• Excellent protection (high water column) combined with high permeability for soft coatings as well as wet or dry laminations
• High water/oil-repellency ratings possible using classical post-impregnation or in
• direct combination with a fluorocarbon (Nuva FHN)
• No additional thickening agent required due to high base viscosity
• Mainly for woven fabrics; can be used on those made of many kinds of fibers
• For sportswear, work wear, medical and military fabrics
• Ionic character: anionic
• Curing required to reduce surface stickiness, if no top-coat or lamination is performed after primary coating
